GFX100s/80mm f/1.7 - ISO100, f/18, 60s

Earlier this week, I got the chance to hang with fellow San Diego Photographer, Joshua Mitchell (@joshuacmitchell) and participate in his urban landscape photowalk club, which is always a great opportunity to learn about different spots in San Diego, practice photography, and also great fellowship.

On this wet and rainy night, we ventured to San Diego State University to see what we could find.

This was a great opportunity to continue to run the FujiFilm GFX100s through its paces and test out its low light capability, along with its IBIS. Many of these shots were captured at between 1000-3200ISO.

The above shot was a 60 second exposure on a mini tripod to see how the GFX100s low light ability and color would look. All images were captured using the camera’s ACROS+G black and white filter for the jpeg previews and of course…shot in raw.

I continue to be amazed by the dynamic range and its ability to handle shadows. The GFX is quickly becoming probably my favorite camera to shoot...after my #NikonDF of course.
